The perfect tuner! I love how it provides an audible tone for every note as well as a visible needle.
Absolutely perfect! Its great to have an app like this since I perform concerts in the summer, in which my cello gets out of tune easily due to the weather. Its very practical!
I have bought actual tuners and I prefer this tuner app over the musical tuners. I use it all the time to practice my cello. I love this tuner app.
I am extremely pleased with this app. As a new cello player it works well for me as I train my ear to hear my intonation. If I had any wishes for changes it would be for it to switch to landscape so I could use my case stand while using it.
Ive found this to be a satisfactory tuner app! I keep it on "very sensitive", and it seems to be accurate. Im not sure how well it would perform for playing scales and such with a tuner, but for just tuning my instrument before playing its excellent. I also enjoy the different backgrounds they offer. I certainly recommend it!
This review overlaps with my review of the free "Lite" version since they are very similar, but this one is totally worth $3, heck I would have spent $30 after the time Ive wasted trying to find the right tuner. If you need a tuner to either generate a particular tone or detect what tone is being made, after trying and buying several tuners I settled in this as the best. By far. Its easy to switch into detect or generation modes, and its dead easy to set the base frequency of A4. Some tuners are preset to guitar or other instrument tones. Ok...if you are learning an instrument and you dont know the notes of your open strings, you should probably get to know them. Some have annoying ads, some have slow & painful interfaces, some have bad and/or delayed displays, some dont even tell you which octave youre in (A2 vs A3, etc.), some only generate tones like a pitch pipe instead of detecting them, and many cant or cant easily set the base frequency. I dont know why its so hard to make the basics work, but this is the first Ive found that does. This paid version has, among other features, adjustable sensitivity which helps smooth out the dynamics on my cello, I have not seen this feature elsewhere and works great as far as I can tell. Highly recommend.

Some bad moments

6/6/16. The purchased version of the Turner crashes over two thirds of the time when selecting the turning fork icon. The free version does not seem to crash. When it works, it works OK.
Cleartune is much much much much better! This app has nice graphic, but less functions compared to Cleartune. AVOID, ITS A THEFT!
Ive tried several over a few years. This is the best for my use as a fiddler
Love it. Its a great tuner. The price is right and its pretty darn accurate for a tuner thats always in your pocket.
